Thailand’s capital city Bangkok has been nominated as the world’s most visited city in past few years. As with other major cities of the world, Bangkok has also been closed off to tourists due to COVID 19 with the vibrant city remaining silent for almost seven months. However, today Bangkok welcomed its first batch of tourists from China.
Today approximately 39 tourists visited Bangkok with more tourists tours scheduled in the coming weeks after measuring the success of this initiative. Since Thailand is heavily dependent on tourism ,the impact of COVID 19 is high on its economy.
Another batch of tourists from Guangzhou China is set to arrive in Bangkok next week giving hope for the stalled economy of Thailand. Compared to other countries Thailand has shown excellence in controlling the virus in its cities and are still taking protective measures to maintain its current situation.
