Based on the points noted in the sixth plenary session of the 19th Central Committee of China’s CPC, China will continue to lead itself as one of the global superpowers and it will continue to promote its concept of “shared future for humanity” and the “human community” concept.
This would have a positive impact on the developing world as it is a positive sign that China will continue to aid in development projects and enhance the trade relations between the countries.
For the Maldives, the ramifications from the CPC’s sixth plenary session of its 19th Central Committee will have a decisive role in painting its future. Regardless of the local socioeconomic and political status, the Maldives is set to avail from China’s global outreach to aid developing countries. China’s policy of non-inteferrance in the domestic affairs of countries and its committed policy of recognizing the sovereignty of even small island nations sits well with the majority of the Maldivian population, who welcome China as a trade partner.
